Featured Plant: Bird of Paradise . . .
In the frontyard of my sister's house in Tandang Sora, Quezon City,Philippines - I marvelled at how these "banana" plants have flowers instead of fruits. Then after some thinking, I remembered that these are the "Bird of Paradise" plants. I marvelled at this beautiful sight in front of me and so I had to record it for posterity and also share it with others. In life, there are forgotten things from our past that get rediscovered or that will resurface for a reason and for a purpose. It's all included in God's wonderful plan for us.
In the Bible (Romans 8:28), the apostle Paul said, "We all know that all things work together for the good of those who love God and to those who are the "called" according to His purpose."
If this is the case, then all we need to do is to trust Him with our lives.

GOD SO LOVED THE WORLD THAT HE GAVE HIS ONLY SON...
This is the greatest love story ever told. Yet, so many people today haven't heard the real story...How can they know unless someone tells them...How can that story be told unless that someone is anointed and sent by God? Do you know why Jesus died on the cross? He died for you and me for the penalty of our sins and for our salvation. God's Son took all our sins away and became sin for us. God's wrath came upon His Son because again, He himself became sin. And His shed blood and broken body paved the way for our salvation. This salvation is offered to those who receive Him and to those who believe in His name...that He is indeed the Christ or Messiah, the Son of God and by believing in Him one will have life and life abundantly.
Are you looking for the meaning of your life? Seek God and his kingdom. God is just a prayer away. You do not need to go to a pilgrimage or to a certain location to go to God. He is near you and if you received Him in your heart, He is within you.
Receive Him today. Allow me to lead you to a prayer. Pray the following now:
Dear Jesus, I invite and receive you in my heart as my Master and my Savior. Please receive me into your kingdom. I confess that I am a sinner and ask forgiveness for all my sins. You have paid for my sins on that cross and you are now offering me eternal life simply by believing in you. I pray also to receive your Holy Spirit to dwell in me. In Your Name I pray. Amen.

MEET MAGENTA
My mother-in-law has two dogs. One of them is Black and guess what is the color of this dog? Black, of course. The one pictured here was named Magenta but she is white as you can see. Her name does not make sense to me at all. She could have been White and not Magenta. But I am sure that it does make sense to the owner who gave her that 'illogical' name.
Sometimes, some things do not make sense to us and we are grasping for some answers. Others go to the extent of blaming God for some misfortune or calamity. After all, they say, He allows these things to happen. The prophet Isaiah said that God's ways are not our ways, nor his thoughts are our thoughts. For his ways and thoughts are higher than ours. So at times, we cannot really fathom why certain things don't make sense to us. But pray for wisdom and inquire from God for He knows all things. Learn to really trust Him for He is God and He knows what He is doing.
